Our boarding facility is a full service operation. Your pet can stay with us for the day (Day Boarding or Day Care) and for the night (Boarding). We have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard for playtimes. We provide bedding, food and water bowls, Purina EN food, and two walks during the day on our property. You are welcome and even encouraged to bring your pet's own food to keep his diet as consistent as possible. We are not able to accept personal bedding, bowls, toys, collars or leashes during your pet's stay. If your pet takes a Controlled Drug, please talk to our staff when you make your reservation. If they take Gabapentin, Tramadol,, Buprrenex, or Keppra we will dispense the medication on a oil-by-pill basis from our stock and it will be put on your invoice. Any other Controlled Drug cannot be given.
Day Boarders can be dropped off or picked up any time during regular business hours.
Boarders can be dropped-off Monday-Friday, noon-5:45 pm, Saturday, 11-1:45 pm. The early drop-off fee is $20. They can be picked-up Monday-Saturday before 11. The late pick-up fee is $5 per hour. The late fee is waived for Boarders getting Bathed or Groomed on their last day.
The pet care staff at Springhurst Animal Hospital pays special attention to every individual pet in our boarding facility. Our boarding staff observes every detail of your pet's stay, including appetite, medication administration, and elimination habits. This helps us provide the needed care if any of your pet's behaviors change.
To help make your pet's stay more comfortable we offer extra activities, such as playtimes, individual time with a staff member, extra walks, and snack times, at an additional cost.
Prior to making your reservation, please talk to our staff to confirm your pet is up-to-date on Flu, Bordatella, Distemper/Parvo, and Rabies vaccinations as well as fecal testing for internal parasites. We need to guarantee all pets are staying in a medically safe environment.
Call our office at 502-326-2975 to make your reservation, then complete your boarding directions on this website using the Boarding Check-in Form. Include your cell phone number on this form and we will send you photos during your pet's stay with us. Completion of this form will also make your drop off/check in much smoother and faster.
